Ye Duan, Associate Professor
Ye Duan (段晔) is an Associate Professor in the Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department at the University of Missouri. He is the Director of Center for Urban Safety, the Director of the Cognitive Internet of Things (CIoT) for Intelligent Communities – Industry Supported Consortium (ISC), and the Director of the Computer Graphics and Image Understanding Lab. He is a core faculty of the MU Institute of Data Science and Informatics, an affiliated faculty of the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Missouri, and an Associate Member of Siteman Cancer Center. His research interests include computer graphics, computer vision, machine learning, and biomedical imaging, with a special focus on 3D deep learning. He has received funding from NSF, NIH, DoD, DoE, DoED, AFRL, ARL, NGA, Honeywell, Bosch, etc. He holds a Ph.D degree and a M.S degree from Computer Science from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He holds a M.S degree in Mathematics from Utah State University and a B.S degree in Mathematics from Peking University.
